Last Night, Design Director of Destiny 2 Luke Smith tweeted out some wonderful news for Destiny fans. The coveted Raid which has remained sealed from fans with only speculation floating around, was announced as only being a week out after the Destiny 2 Launch.
As seen in the tweet below, the raid has a set and locked date. Guardians will have to hustle if they want to be up to snuff for when the Raid Drops.
There will be no Raid tease for Destiny 2's first Raid.
It will launch at 10 a.m. Pacific on Sept 13
Trials arrives 10 a.m., Sept 15

A week isn’t a long time but knowing Destiny players getting up to proper level shouldn’t be a problem. It’s usually gear that slows things down, but even with the new system of how the game rewards players it will be interesting to see how this should ease things up for players looking to get to the Raid. If anything, it will allow more players to be Raid ready and that is the best news of all.
Destiny 2 launches September 6 for PS4 and Xbox One and launches October 24 for PC. For all your Destiny 2 news, and information stick around on Hardcore Gamer.
