Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition Rated by ESRB

A Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition may be on its way to PS4 and Xbox One.

The ESRB is known to accidentally reveal games before their eventual announcement, and that may just be the case here. The game ratings website has gone live with a rating for a Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition. The Royal Edition will apparently launch on PS4 and Xbox One, and the ratings summary is identical to the base game.

Due to the identical rating summaries, we can only speculate as to what’s included in the Royal Edition. However, it would be a fair guess to say that the Royal Edition will bundle the full game with all previously released DLC; Episodes Gladiolus, Prompto, and Ignis as well as the Comrades co-op DLC. It is unlikely the second batch of DLC would be included in the Royal Edition, nor would we see any of the PC version’s exclusive features pop up on PS4 and Xbox One.

This should be taken with a grain of salt until Square Enix makes an official announcement. We’ll let you know should they announce Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition, or reveal that this is not a real product.

Final Fantasy XV and its four DLC packs are available now on PS4 and Xbox One.
