Paul George, PlayStation Collaborate on Fresh Kicks: Introducing PG-2 PlayStation Colorway

Athletes and video games collaborating is nothing new, the latest mash-up being Paul George (Oklahoma City Thunder) and PlayStation lighting up the court or the streets with the all new PG-2 “PlayStation” colorway. Even if not a fan of collector item wear, these shoes look fresh.

The PG-2’s are a deal through Paul George, Nike and PlayStation with inspiration coming from the PS2 (George’s go-to console growing up) and PS4’s DualShock 4 controller with Iconic symbols that have been seen through PlayStation’s lifetime.

Some of the more notable things about the PG-2 Colorway’s include the tongues of the shoe sporting the PG and PlayStation logos which illuminate and pulsate blue just like the PlayStation. The back heel of the left shoe even has a unique barcode which contains the bonus of a PSN voucher code for a Paul George Dynamic Theme for the PS4. Anyone will notice the eyelet colors are a nod to the buttons on the DualShock 4, with iconic PlayStation symbols embossed in patent leather on each shoe. Even the sock liners reflect the look of the PlayStation.

If looking to step up the game, or just an avid shoe collector, then these shoes are right in that wheelhouse. The PG2 “PlayStation” colorway drops worldwide on February 10, 2018. For additional information on these slick kicks check out the Nike SNKRS app.
