(I Fell in Love With) The Majesty of Colors Remastered Grabs a Release Date

Future Proof Games on Tuesday announced an official release date for the remastered version of Gregory Avery-Weir’s (I Fell in Love With) The Majesty of Colors.

The Majesty of Colors, which was initially released as a Flash-powered title in 2008, will launch on February 28 for PC, macOS, Linux and iOS and Android devices.

It will be priced at $2.99, Avery-Weir confirmed in a blog post.

According to Avery-Weir, The Majesty of Colors has been “remade almost from scratch in Unity.”

“We’ve remastered the original game from scratch for modern devices,” Future Proof said. “With its new visual effects, sound and interface enhancements — but the same evocative pixel art — we’re proud to let a new generation of folks play our award-winning game.”

The Majesty of Colors’ story centers on an undersea creature that discovers the colors of the surface for the first time. Players can interact with balloons, fish, people and sharks with the creature’s tentacle.

The Majesty of Colors has branching playthroughs, with player choices allowing for different endings to be unlocked.

“Each play session is short and leads to one of [the] multiple endings depending on your actions,” Avery-Weir said. “Unless you really take your time, you can find them all in under an hour.”
