EA is bringing back it’s EA Play event for E3 2018 where fans can go hands-on with all their upcoming titles.
Back in 2016, EA made the decision to pull out of E3 and throw its own event during the same time as the major even. Fast forward to 2018 and the publisher will once again hold EA Play during E3 2018. At the event, players can expect to play and see EA’s upcoming slate of games.
Like EA Play 2017, this year’s festivities will once again take place at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, California starting June 9 and ending June 11, a day before E3 2018 officially kicks off. Tickets will be free and EA is introducing a new system to give attendees better hands-on access to the games. More details are yet to come.
As for the games, players will have a chance to play the next Battlefield game (which is rumored to be set in World War II) and all the newest EA Sports games. Attendees will get an inside look at Anthem rather than hands-on time. Considering that the game was recently delayed into 2019, it’s not surprising Anthem won’t be ready for players to try.
Tickets for EA Play 2018, entertainment, program schedule, and the full list of games at the event will be announced in the coming weeks and months. For those that can’t make it, EA will be streaming the event all weekend long.
