Chinese Super League Tops Most-Requested League Poll for FIFA 19

The Chinese Super League has topped a fan-made poll as the most-requested soccer league to be introduced to FIFA 19.

FIFPlay, a soccer-centric gaming website, says that over one million votes had been cast in its poll, which features over 100 domestic leagues and two of which are women’s.

The CSL took 75,088 votes to claim the top spot, while the UAE Pro-League placed second with 69,774 and the Czech First League followed closely behind in third with 68,336.

India’s I-League, the Women’s Bundesliga and Iran’s Persian Gulf Pro League also ranked in the top ten spots of FIFPlay’s poll.

“The vote is running since September 2017 at FIFPlay.com and is trying to encourage EA Sports for getting the license to include the most-wanted football leagues in the game that were not featured in the previous versions of FIFA,” FIFPlay said.

The CSL, which was founded in 2004, rose to prominence in recent years for several high-profile signings, including former Chelsea midfielder Oscar.

The yet-to-be-announced FIFA 19 is expected to launch later this year.

Last year’s FIFA 18 sold over ten million copies worldwide, surpassing the total sales of FIFA 17.

Hardcore Gamer’s review for FIFA 18 believes that it “once again reign[s] supreme as one of this year’s most accessible and crowd-pleasing titles both in and outside of its genre.”
