ORIGINAL STORYLife Is Strange: Before the Storm is heading to macOS and Linux this spring, Feral Interactive and Square Enix announced.

Feral, who ported Dontnod Entertainment’s Life Is Strange to macOS and Linux in 2016, revealed that it is bringing Before the Storm Deluxe Edition to both platforms.

The Deluxe Edition includes all three episodes of Before the Storm — Episode 1: Awake, Episode 2: Brave New World and Episode 3: Hell is Empty — along with the recently released bonus episode, ‘Farewell.’

It has not yet been confirmed how much the Deluxe Edition will set macOS and Linux users back.

Feral has frequently collaborated with Square Enix in the past to port its titles, which includes the likes of Tomb Raider and Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition.

Before the Storm, a prequel to the critically acclaimed Life Is Strange, was first announced at E3 2017. It initially released as a digital download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2017.

The physical release of Before the Storm coincided with Farewell’s launch this month in North America and Europe.

Hardcore Gamer’s review for Before the Storm called it “a must-play component of the series and the franchise is something that anyone who enjoys a strong narrative should try out.”
