Good Shepherd Entertainment and Italo Games today announced that Milanoir is slated to launch on May 31.
Drawing inspiration from Italian crime movies of the 1970s, Italo’s title will be released for both PC and Nintendo Switch. The publisher and developer have also revealed that Milanoir will now launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
According to Italo, Milanoir will take players on a “story of greed, betrayal and revenge drawn to life with stylish pixel art graphics and a funky ‘70s soundtrack.”
Milanoir’s story mode supports either a single-player experience or local co-op. When it comes to co-op, however, the Milanoir developer said that the “feature has even been designed with the unique capabilities of the Nintendo Switch in mind, as it allows two players to complete its entire action-packed campaign in co-op mode on one console with each player using one Joy-Con controller.”
The Switch support may not come as a complete surprise, considering Good Shepherd and Italo revealed earlier this year that Milanoir would be coming to Nintendo’s console.
