Activision today announced that the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will arrive on Xbox One, Switch, and PC earlier than expected.
The iconic Bandicoot is making the leap to new platforms this summer when the N. Sane Trilogy officially launches on Xbox One, Switch, and PC platforms. The trilogy contains the original three games with completely redone assets and lighting. It was a hit when it launched on PS4 last year, and was scheduled to launch on other platforms July 10.
Turns out Xbox One, Switch, and PC owners won’t have to wait that long. Activision has moved the release date up by nearly two weeks to June 29. Vicarious Visions handled the remaster. The game is currently available on PS4.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is Activision’s attempt to resurrect the long-dormant franchise following the departure of developer Naughty Dog. While Naughty Dog was purchased by Sony, the Crash IP ended up in Activision’s hands. The publisher is attempting to do something similar with the Spyro IP.
