It’s been a little over three months since Warhorse Studios released their debut, epic RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance and while the game is still not without its hiccups and niggling issues — one that marred its level of acclaim and overall reception upon release — of which the studio continues (at least is trying) to iron out, Warhorse have today released some new details pertaining to the game’s upcoming DLC plans. And in current industry fashion, this takes the form of a visual roadmap for the game which will see it supported right the way through the year and beyond into 2019.
The game will be supported by four story-based DLC packs which kicks off this Summer with “From The Ashes” of which will be split apart by additional updates in the form of a new Hardcore mode, a Tournament mode, as well as the ability for mod support. To those who originally backed the game via crowdfunding, a behind-the-scenes documentary as well as a Combat Academy tutorial video will also be provided for free. Warhorse have confirmed that further details pertaining to the first story DLC will be revealed at this year’s E3. Though the studio have hinted towards a new patch also planned, no details as to its content has been released. We’ve reached out to Warhorse for clarification on this. Kingdom Come: Deliverance is out now for PS4, Xbox One & PC.
