Nintendo took the entire second half of their E3 2018 Nintendo Direct to focus on the bevy of changes and additions making their way to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, including the biggest roster yet for the franchise.
One of the characters making their long-awaited return is Solid Snake, who has previously appeared in the Wii’s Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Upon his announcement, fans were curious who would end up voicing this version of the Metal Gear Solid protagonist, as the original voice artist has not performed this character in close to a decade. However, David Hayter himself announced via Twitter that it is his voice that will appear as Snake in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Details are still scarce on if Hayter actually performed any new lines for the upcoming crossover fighter, but it is promising to learn that fans will be able to hear the voice most associated with this classic character.
