Activision today announced everything they’re bringing to San Diego Comic-Con later this month.
The annual San Diego Comic-Com is nearly upon us. Running July 19-22, Comic-Com brings together companies, stars, and fans across the entire entertainment spectrum. Films, comics, TV, and, of course, video games will all be represented at the show. Activision will be one of those companies at Comic-Con, and has a lineup that is sure to make fans happy.
Treyarch is set to host a Call of Duty: Black Ops panel on Thursday, July 19. Jason Blundell (Sr. Executive Producer) and Craig Houston (Lead Writer) will be on hand to discuss Zombies and debut some new footage. There will also be a Dark Horse Comic Book Cover Art signing, apparel, and action figures for purchase.
If Spyro the Dragon is more your thing than you’ll want to check out the Spyro Reignited Trilogy panel. Scheduled for Thursday, July 19, developers from Insomniac Games and Toys for Bob will be on hand to give fans an exclusive look into the development of the original games and the upcoming remastered collection. Stewart Copeland (composer of the original Spyro soundtrack), Tom Kenny (the voice of Spyro), and Michael John (Producer at Universal Interactive Studios on the original Spyro trilogy) will also be on hand.
Finally, Crash Bandicoot and Destiny items will be available for purchase at the show. No panels or other events are planned for either franchise.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is out October 12 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Spyro Reignited Trilogy is out September 21 on PS4 and Xbox One. Destiny 2: Forsaken is out September 4 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
