The release of the map comes a day after Game Informer dropped major details about the game mode. Blackout supports 80 players in the beta, down from the 100 supported in PUBG and Fortnite. The amount of players is higher than Battlefield V’s battle royale mode, Firestorm, which only supports 64 players. However, Treyarch did say they’d be willing to increase the player count based on how the beta goes.
