PlayStation Classic Discounted to $60

December 3 marked a day that was supposed to be a celebration of the original PlayStation. Fast forward to three weeks and this retro-console cash-in is stocked on shelves and collecting dust. The PlayStation Classic released to many as a disappointment. Within days after the release, workarounds were discovered and the system can be hacked to play other games. The launch price of $99.99 might have been a bit much, but now retailers have knocked it to almost half off. The system is currently on sale for $59.99 at Amazon, Gamestop, Best Buy, Walmart, Target and B&H Video. Prior to Christmas, Gamestop and Best Buy were offering $25 gift cards with the purchase. The way Sony shipped out the console is questionable, but there are options that can improve the experience. It might be worth the price for you now.
