2018 is just about over with, and as we reflect back on our past year as people, Valve is offering an intriguing look at how the digital games provider fared over the past 365 days.
Earlier today, Valve revealed the top-selling titles of 2018 across the platform’s entire catalog. While the list is not individually numbered, it is divided into four categories, so readers can see what the top twelve, 24, forty and 100 best-selling titles of the year are. On Steam, Monster Hunter: World, Far Cry 5 and Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey ended up being the top three best-selling 2018 releases. Valve also divulged a list for the most-played games of 2018, with Monster Hunter: World being the only 2018 title on the list to garner over 100,000 simultaneous players.
Fortunately for anyone looking to grab some of the year’s best-selling and most-played titles, Steam is currently hosting its annual Winter Sale until January 3.
