Respawn Entertainment CEO Vince Zampella confirmed that the studio has plans for Titanfall.
Following the bombshell announcement and release of Apex Legends yesterday, the future of Titanfall was up in the air. Respawn producer Drew McCoy revealed to Eurogamer that Titanfall 3 isn’t in development, an announcement that made nobody happy. Well, while we don’t know what’s going on with the franchise, we do know Respawn has plans for it.
Taking to Twitter, Vince Zampella confirmed that more Titanfall is in the works. In fact, it looks like we’ll see something Titanfall later this year.
Tons of things planned for @PlayApex in the future. We are also committed to listening to player feedback.
We are also working on more Titanfall for later in the year (yes, I said the T word). We love being able to experiment in this crazy universe!

No idea what this Titanfall news could be, but if we’re to take McCoy’s statement into account we can disqualify Titanfall 3. For now, all we can do is speculate. We’ll likely hear more about the project as we inch closer to E3 2019, which takes place June 11-13.
We’ll let you know should Respawn or Zampella make any additional comments on the future of Titanfall.
