Dangerous Driving Revives Burnout-Style Racing in April

The Burnout series has been dormant for over a decade, with Burnout Paradise being the last entry in the series. While a remastered version of that game has hit modern devices, and the fourth entry was released via Xbox One backwards compatibility, fans have still been left wanting something new. There are games that have crashes, and plenty that have racing, but none that quite combine the two into a magical stew quite like Burnout. Three Fields Entertainment is a group of ex-Burnout devs that has created the Danger Zone games, which themselves picked up where Crash Mode left off, and set out to create a Burnout successor on top of that. Now, Dangerous Driving is set for release much sooner than anyone could have anticipated – with an April 9 release date. This white-knuckle racer will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The PC version will bypass Steam and go directly to the Epic Games Store as well, providing it with another strong release as the platform gets more established.
