Deltarune Comes to Nintendo Switch This Month

In late October of last year, players were shocked when after some initial hints, developer Toby Fox suddenly released the first part of Deltarune, the long-awaited follow-up to the hit RPG Undertale. Not exactly a sequel, but more of a successor, it was a unique take on the world of Undertale. Admittedly, there’s not much else we can go into concerning Deltarune which wouldn’t involve spoilers, though. Yes, it really is the kind of game you need to go into blind. The title alone should tell you that things are quite different this time, though…

Notably, even Toby Fox feels that things should be as spoiled as little as possible. This is evidenced by the trailer for the Switch version of Deltarune announced during today’s Nintendo Direct, as seen below. If you want the version that does not have dogs, then you’ll have to wait for Chapter 1 of Deltarune to hit the Switch on February 28. Whether or not there will be any differences from the PC version is unknown, but we’ll see what occurs. Chapter 1 will be free, but the rest of Deltarune will be full price. And when does the rest of it come out? Fox has said it will simply have a development time of years for now. Then again, he is quite the troll, but we still advise being patient and checking out Chapter 1 again when it arrives later this month.
