The Division 2’s Tidal Basin Update Drops Today, Adds new Content for Free

Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment today released the first major content drop for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2.

Tidal Basin is here for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, bringing with it tons of new content for free. The update features a new stronghold, a new gear score cap, weekly invasions, weapons, and new gear sets.

The Tidal Basin stronghold features The Division 2’s technologically advanced Black Tusk faction. In their haste to capture DC, the faction has left their stronghold open to attack. Successfully conquering the stronghold opens World Tier 5, which contains gear that’ll get up to the new 500 gear score cap. World Tier 5 also introduces weekly invasions where the Black Tusk take control of main missions and other strongholds. Completing these challenging activities increases your chance of grabbing the game’s best gear, including two new exotic weapons and gear sets.

You’ll want to do all this quick as it’s almost raid time. The Division 2’s first raid, Operation Dark Hours, launches April 25. This eight-player raid is the ultimate challenge for agents. The rewards are worth it, but the road to victory won’t come easy.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is available now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Tidal Basin content is free for every player and does not require the Season Pass.
