The game library available to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers may be growing at a glacial pace, but it is growing nonetheless; it may be starting to grow a bit more quickly too. The month of April brought users three games to add to their online NES collections, and now May is offering three more. Starting on May 15, those subscribed to the service will be able to play Clu Clu Land, Donkey Kong Jr. and Vs. Excitebike.
Clu Clu Land may not be all that well known today, but it was something of a classic back in the eight-bit era. As a bubble-fish named “Clu,” players must navigate each level and uncover gold bars. Find them all to beat each stage and reveal its secret! Vs. Excitebike, on the other hand, is the expanded version of the game previously seen only on the Famicom Disk System. Players can create their own tracks, save their high-scores and take on an enhance single-player mode that will surely put those rally skills to the test.
As for Donkey Kong Jr., there really isn’t that much that needs to be said is there? This is the sequel to one of the most famous arcade classics of all time, and it’s technically Donkey Kong’s very first appearance in gaming. Clamber up those vines and free the elder kong so he can make his name as the crankiest primate in the entire Donkey Kong series!
