Developers Share Spring Update for Monster Hunter: World Featuring Iceborne

Iceborne was revealed last December to excited fans of the Monster Hunter series. Although we got teases and small updates along the way, we’ve finally gotten not only gameplay but full information on what to expect from the upcoming expansion for the series. One of the big takeaways is that Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Master Edition will be available for purchase and will include the original and expansion for those who haven’t previous picked up the title.

The developer update also covered loads of new features coming including themes for PS4, weapon updates, new monsters like the flagship elder dragon Velkhana and returning ones such as Nargacuga. There is also a slew of new techniques for hunters to use such as a grappling hook to use against monsters and a new Palico ability to save a hunter in need.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion and physical Master Edition will be available September 6 for PS4 and Xbox with PC coming this Winter. Check out the full developer update below:
