Earlier today, Google held a pre-recorded Stadia event, which, in addition to announcing pricing and launch details for the streaming platform, also featured several new and upcoming games.
One of those was Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, with a new trailer complete with a tone-setting monologue from Jon Bernthal, who portrays the antagonist and leader of the enemy faction simply known as The Wolves. While the trailer is effective by itself, it abruptly cuts off just as the camera switches to the player’s point-of-view, alongside smaller shots of his three companions. This seemingly sets up a lengthier gameplay demo that will take place next week during the E3 press conferences, with a guaranteed appearance within Ubisoft’s show and a potential presence at Microsoft’s briefing, likely turning a simple trailer into a rewarding two-to-three part journey for fans to follow along with in the days to come.
Ghost Recon: Breakpoint launches on October 4 for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia.
