E3 2019: Activision Announces Grand Prix Mode for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled

Activision today announced plans to add more free to content to Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is out in about a week, but developer Beenox has no intentions of slowing down post-launch. At E3 2019, Beenox revealed the brand new Grand Prix mode, which aims to deliver seasonal content for all players at no extra charge.

Grand Prix brings large swaths of new content to the game. Each season brings in a new Nitro Gauge that players fill up by playing the game. Filling it up unlocks new rewards such as characters, karts, skins, and kart customization items. Each Grand Prix adds a new track to the game, which remains even after the Prix ends. The first Grand Prix kicks off around launch, and is followed by an additional two Grand Prixs. You’ll find plenty of new characters to try, including a special purple dragon.

Crash Team-Racing Nitro-Fueled is out June 21 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
