Infinity Ward today dropped five minutes of raw gameplay of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s newest game mode.
Last week, Infinity Ward revealed a brand new multiplayer game mode coming with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Titled Gunfight, the mode puts four players onto small arenas with random weapons, attachments, and gear. The 2v2 mode looked intense, but it was hard to judge completely thanks to how Infinity Ward chose to debut it. Rather than showcase gameplay through a trailer, Infinity Ward streamed gameplay with influencers. Due to potential compression and lag, not everyone may have gotten a clear picture.
Thankfully, Infinity Ward has oped to release raw gameplay of the mode. Captured in 4K on a PS4 Pro, the gameplay segment gives players the best look possible at the new mode. It also gives players a good look at what to expect from the game’s visuals, which benefit from a brand new engine.
Gunfight is just one of the new game modes coming with the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer experience. On Thursday, August 1, Infinity Ward will fully show off the game’s multiplayer. Be sure to tune in that day to learn all about what to expect.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out October 25 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
