Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio to Host ‘Latest Work’ Conference Next Month

As any fan or follower of beloved Yakuza studio, Ryu Ga Gotoku, should know, the team seldom spent too long resting before they’re onto their next project and it looks like we may be getting the next tidbits of information as to what the studio currently has in the pipeline. Ryu Ga Gotoku have today announced that they will be hosting a press conference, of sorts, at the UDX Theater in Tokyo, where they intend to reveal their latest work and what fans have to look forward to.

No doubt we’ll be seeing some sort of reveal or at least more information pertaining to the hypothetical Yakuza 7 — the first game in the series not to star series staple Kazuma Kiryu as the main lead — but there’s also the already-released Yakuza Online which is bound to get some focus one way or another. Plus with the studio already having broadened out into other areas like the Fist of the North Star adaptation — sub-titled Lost Paradise, having released last October — as well as Yakuza spin-off Judgment, the conference may not be entirely Yakuza-focused. It hasn’t been stated if the conference will be broadcast outside of Japan online for fans in the West, but needless to say, we’ll be hearing more of what the future has in store for Ryu Ga Gotoku when the conference kicks off August 29.
