Tekken 7 Season Pass 3 Brings Back a Classic and a New Fighter, No Solid Snake Though

Bandai Namco revealed Tekken 7 Season Pass 3 this weekend at Evo 2019, which includes four characters.

Of those four upcoming fighters, two were revealed in the new trailer. We also got confirmation that one of those mysterious fights is not Metal Gear’s Solid Snake.

The first of the fighters is Zafina. First appearing in Tekken 6, Zafina is of Egyptian descent and comes from an ancient bloodline that possesses spiritual powers. She’ll be available in September. The second character, Leroy Smith, is a brand new addition to the Tekken universe and launches in December. In addition to the new characters, Bandai Namco also confirmed that all characters are getting new moves.

An additional two characters have yet to be revealed, but we can tell you neither are Solid Snake. During the show, the organizers played a video of Snake discussing Tekken with series producer Katsuhiro Harada. This led many to assume that Solid Snake might be the next guest character. In a game that’s had wild guest characters like Noctis, and Negan, Solid Snake would be a natural fit. Sadly, it turns out it was just a joke with Evo issuing an apology.

Tekken 7 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We’ll let you know when Bandai Namco makes an announcement regarding the final two characters.
