Earlier today, Keighley took to Twitter to showcase a handful of the big name developers and publishers that will be featured as part of Gamescom Opening Night Live. In addition to Xbox Game Studios, Google Stadia and a number of other noteworthy publishers, this announcement also came with the news that Hideo Kojima would be appearing on stage to share a brand new look at his upcoming title, Death Stranding, which could represent part if not all of Sony’s confirmed involvement with the show. Additionally, SEGA shared that an unannounced AAA title from one of their developers would be shown first as part of Gamescom Opening Night Live, although they did not specify whether or not that game would eventually be playable on the show floor the following days. On a more speculative note, this production could also see appearances from the likes of CD Projekt Red, who confirmed that they would be bringing Cyberpunk 2077 to Gamescom, and Ghost Games’ new Need for Speed title, which is more likely considering EA’s inclusion in the above tweet.
