DuckTales Remastered to be Digitally Delisted This Week

Back in 2013, Capcom and WayForward teamed up to release an upgraded version of the NES classic DuckTales, bringing enhanced visuals and fully voice-acted cutscenes to one of the more nostalgic members of the genre.

Since its release, DuckTales Remastered has not been ported over to current-gen consoles, and a recent announcement makes that possibility seem all but confirmed not to happen. Per Capcom, DuckTales Remastered will be removed from the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC digital stores on August 10, which will not affect players who have already purchased the title but will remove the option for those who have yet to. Fortunately, physical copies of the game were produced and will continue to remain in (somewhat limited) circulation, and Steam is currently offering the game for under $4 as a result of this impending elimination.
