Resident Evil 4 Player Kills Chainsaw Man ‘Dr. Salvador’ Using Only a Door

A YouTuber spent fourteen minutes to successfully kill the ‘Chainsaw Man’ in Resident Evil 4 using only a door.

Dante Ravioli Proof posted a video of Leon Kennedy luring the chainsaw-wielding enemy, AKA Dr. Salvador, to a door and repeatedly kicking him with it until he dies.

Enemies take a small amount of damage when Leon kicks the door into them, but the YouTuber remained committed to pulling off the feat by taking down the Chainsaw Man using only this method.

Unsurprisingly, fans were impressed with Dante Ravioli’s ‘patience’ and attempts to ‘conserve that ammo.’

“Leon’s [sic] must have excellent calf muscles by now,” one YouTube user wrote.

Someone else posted: “How many kicks did it take? I hope someone has counted.”

A third said: “Leon’s new weapon, a door now the merchant will be investing.”

A fourth added: “You have my respect, sir. You deserve an award for dedication. Keep up more challenges.”

The critically acclaimed Resident Evil 4 was initially released on Nintendo GameCube in 2005 and would launch on PlayStation 2 later that year.

Since then, Shinji Mikami’s third-person survival horror title has been ported to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and iOS and Android devices.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and The Last of Us co-director Bruce Straley admitted earlier this year that the fan-favorite horror shooter has the “Best opening fight” for any title.

Hardcore Gamer’s review for the PS4 version of Resident Evil 4 said that it “continues to be a standout experience.”
