If our coverage of it so far hasn’t made it clear, we’re quite excited for Biomutant, the upcoming open-world action-RPG game from Experiment 101. It looks to hopefully be an insane romp through a post-apocalyptic world where you can mutate your own playable critter and battle with kung fu skills, and we have a lot of faith in its success. And so does publisher THQ Nordic, if the new Collector’s Edition and Atomic Edition revealed today are any indication. Each one is a tantalizing (if pricey) package that contains a crop of goodies, as seen below.
The new clips show off the contents of each version, but for those who need a quick summary, the Collector’s Edition includes the game, a 7.8″ figurine of the game’s hero, some A1 artwork on fabric, a copy of the soundtrack, and a premium box. The Atomic Edition, meanwhile, swamps out the figurine for a huge 23″ by 10″ by 12″ diorama showcasing a detailed battle, and adds a SteelBook case, an oversized mousepad, and a t-shirt in L/XL. The Collector’s Edition will go for around $109.99 for the PC version and $119.99 for consoles, while the Atomic Edition is going to be around $399.99. Sadly, the announcement of these editions did not come with any news concerning a release date. But for now, Biomutant is still due out this year for PC, XB1, and PS4, so stay tuned.
