Back at last year’s E3, you may remember a particular skateboarding title by the name of Session popping up during Microsoft’s conference. Despite people’s suspecting, or joking, this was either a new Tony Hawk entry, or the fabled Skate 4 (which to be honest, is unlikely to ever happen), it was in fact a new project by creā-ture Studios, with the aim to move away from the arcade-style controls of the former. Incorporating, what the developer claims, is a 1:1 scale replica of lower Manhattan, New York to explore and pull off many a trick in.
After more than a year of silence, we finally have an update. Session will enter Steam Early Access starting September 17, with it entering Xbox’s own equivalent — Xbox Game Preview — sometime in October. The game is planned to fully release sometime in 2020.
