MediEvil, the latest PS1 classic to get the remake treatment, is almost here.By the end of October, fans will have all the opportunity in the world to rediscover Gallowmere and weather its many perils. Speaking of peril, it turns out that there’s a simple way to reduce its influence: using a shield. This may sound like a no-brainer, but it’s always good to know the ins and outs of one’s equipment. Wandering around Gallowmere unprepared is a good way to meet a premature end after all.
Using a shield in MediEvil is pretty straightforward: once equipped, shields absorb all incoming damage. All one has to do is hold it out in front and the problem is solved…at least until the shield breaks. Then all that damage will be coming right at that bony face. Perhaps it would be best to practice dodging in the demo rather than relying solely on shields.
MediEvil launches on October 25 for PlayStation 4.
