Square Enix today announced that Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition will be arriving on console and PC in 2019.
According to the publisher, the Rise of the Tomb Raider sequel will receive both a physical and digital release on November 5 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The Definitive Edition has also been confirmed for the cloud-based gaming platform Google Stadia, which is expected to launch in November.
Square Enix has revealed that the Definitive Edition will include the base title and all seven pieces of DLC released post-launch.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider Season Pass holders will be able to download the Definitive Edition’s DLC outfit for free on their respective platforms.
Eidos Montréal’s title served as the final installment in Lara Croft’s origin story and has the heroine fighting back against Trinity as she also attempts to stop a Maya apocalypse.
Hardcore Gamer’s review called Shadow of the Tomb Raider a “must-play for action-adventure and Tomb Raider fans.”
Square Enix began its reboot of Lara Croft’s story with the 2013 release of Tomb Raider, which was helmed by Crystal Dynamics.
Crystal Dynamics would return for Rise of the Tomb Raider, which initially released as a timed exclusive for Xbox 360 and Xbox One in 2015.
