Sonic the Hedgehog has been making the rounds again since his movie debut (and re-do). In an effort to bring Sonic to even more audiences, SEGA announced that it will partner with the Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc. for a limited time promotion featuring Sonic collectible toys.
Beginning December 1, Arby’s restaurants nationwide will carry an exclusive line of toys for its Game On Kids Meal, which will feature eight different toys starring Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy Rose, Dr. Robotnik, Shadow and more. The line will be available at participating Arby’s across the United States until February 29, 2020.

“We love working with partners who get us, and Arby’s does,” said Ivo Gerscovich, Chief Brand Officer of SEGA of America. It’s no wonder the partnership is made in heaven, as Arby’s has revitalized their marketing campaign in the last few years to feature social media posts of nerdy cardboard cut-outs in order to appeal to gamers, nerds and geeks of all kinds. To celebrate the partnership, SEGA is offering an in-app promotion on Sonic Dash to receive 50 red star rings to unlock characters, items and more.
