Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Breaks a Handful of EA’s Records

EA has revealed that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has broken a handful of their records.

It turns out that players really do want a single player Star Wars experience. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which launched on November 15, is doing quite well for a publisher that has become hyper-focused on online experiences. According to the publisher, the game is now EA’s top-selling Star Wars title on PC, at least during its initial launch window. More impressively, Fallen Order is now the fastest-selling digital launch for a Star Wars game in its first two weeks.

The state of Star Wars titles since EA got exclusive rights to the IP has been disappointing. EA has only released two other Star Wars titles, Battlefront and Battlefront II. Both games received lukewarm to negative receptions, but for different reasons. While both got praise for immersing players in the Star Wars universe, the original game was hit for it’s simplistic gameplay and lack of content. Meanwhile, Battlefront II got hit for it’s excessive amount of microtransactions. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has none of those problems. In fact, Fallen Order is a fantastic single player title.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
