Fans who have always wanted to create their own video games can get a quirky, interactive lesson from Nintendo in this newly announced title. Game Builder Garage provides players with the tools to design a variety of games which is perfect for those interested in development.
Players receive a guided crash course in programming like deciding which buttons dictate various actions. There are obstacles to place, background music to add and various effects to place. You can create side scrolling shooters, racing games and puzzles all with the provided in-game tools. You will be having fun as you learn to design a game, then share creations with friends for them to test out.
Game Builder Garage works in handheld, TV mode, tabletop mode and uses controller, touchscreen or a compatible USB mouse. Pre-orders are open now but the game will launch on June 11 for $29.99 USD which could be a great deal for curious gamers to experience. Check out how the game works in the announcement trailer below.
