The Charged Trousers is a piece of armor from Zelda: ToTK; it offers a measure of defense against incoming attacks. It is part of the set "Chemical Electric Set", and when wearing all 3 pieces of the set offers the bonus effect "Stormy Weather Charge", which provides Charge attacks charge twice as fast in stormy weather. It can also be upgraded to increase its defense stats by visiting one of Hyrule's Great Fairies, which will require a recipe of materials to do so.

How To Upgrade Charged Trousers

Most armor within The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be upgraded. In order to upgrade a specific piece of armor, your must have unlocked one of the four Great Fairy locations within Hyrule. These locations are close to a Stable location which is where you can begin the side quest to unlocking a particular Great Fairy fountain.

Once you are able to speak with one of the Great Fairies, you can request armor upgrades should you have the proper materials required. Each armor upgrade will increase its stats as well as the sale value. If you choose to sell armor, including the seemingly rare sets that you acquire through exploration, they can typically be repurchased at one of Hyrule's vendors after their initial discovery.
