Fishing Harpoon is a two-handed weapon, and it affords Link more range with attacks. Spears or spear-like weapons like Fishing Harpoon work well when maintaining distance from the enemy is the best strategy.

Since the Fishing Harpoon is a metal weapon, the weapon will attract or amplify environmental lightning and incoming lightning attacks. However, unlike wooden weapons the Fishing Harpoon is protected from fire elemental damage and will not burn when subjected to fire.

Fishing Harpoon can be upgraded to increase overall attack power:

• Attack Up Level 1: 6 - 7
• Attack Up Level 2: 8 - 11

It also has a Guard Break Power of 4 and a range of 5. This weapon deals - damage upon impact with an enemy or object. Cut damage can specifically bisect many environmental objects while Blunt damage shatters structures such as cracked rock.

This weapon can alter the state of your shield when fused with it. Fusing the Fishing Harpoon to a shield will grant more shield surfing friction and enable a shield bash attack.
