Quick Links

Forest Dweller's Sword is a one-handed weapon, Link can swing it faster than large swords or other heavy two-handed weapons. It can also be wielded alongside a shield.

Since the Forest Dweller's Sword is a wooden weapon, the weapon won't attract or amplify environmental lightning and incoming lightning attacks, unlike metal shields, armor, and weapons. However, wooden weapons like the Forest Dweller's Sword are flammable and burn easy when subjected to fire.

Forest Dweller's Sword can be upgraded to increase overall attack power:

  • Attack Up Level 1: 10 - 12
  • Attack Up Level 2: 13 - 17

It also has a Guard Break Power of 8 and a range of 1.6. This weapon deals Cut damage upon impact with an enemy or object. Cut damage can specifically bisect many environmental objects while Blunt damage shatters structures such as cracked rock.

This weapon can alter the state of your shield when fused with it. Fusing the Forest Dweller's Sword to a shield will grant more shield surfing friction and enable a shield bash attack.
