Royal Halberd is a two-handed weapon, and it affords Link more range with attacks. Spears or spear-like weapons like Royal Halberd work well when maintaining distance from the enemy is the best strategy.

Since the Royal Halberd is a metal weapon, the weapon will attract or amplify environmental lightning and incoming lightning attacks. However, unlike wooden weapons the Royal Halberd is protected from fire elemental damage and will not burn when subjected to fire.

Royal Halberd can be upgraded to increase overall attack power:

• Attack Up Level 1: 8 - 9
• Attack Up Level 2: 10 - 13

It also has a Guard Break Power of 32 and a range of 5. This weapon deals - damage upon impact with an enemy or object. Cut damage can specifically bisect many environmental objects while Blunt damage shatters structures such as cracked rock.

This weapon can alter the state of your shield when fused with it. Fusing the Royal Halberd to a shield will grant more shield surfing friction and enable a shield bash attack.
