Zonaite Longsword is a heavy two-handed weapon, and Link swings it slower than one-handed melee weapons or strikes delivered with a two-handed spear. While you should be wary of your defenses with slower attacks and the inability to use a shield, the Zonaite Longsword will typically deal greater damage per hit than the average one-handed melee weapon.

Zonaite Longsword can be upgraded to increase overall attack power:

• Attack Up Level 2: 15 - 19

It also has a Guard Break Power of 18 and a range of 1.8. This weapon deals Cut damage upon impact with an enemy or object. Cut damage can specifically bisect many environmental objects while Blunt damage shatters structures such as cracked rock.

This weapon can alter the state of your shield when fused with it. Fusing the Zonaite Longsword to a shield will grant more shield surfing friction and enable a shield bash attack.
