E3 2019: Destroy Some Shambling Corpses in Zombie Army 4: Dead War

Mowing down Nazis with high powered firearms is always a great time. If those Nazis failed to get the hint the first time around and come back from dead? Well, anything worth doing once is worth handling again with glee. This is the philosophy behind Rebellion’s newly announced Zombie Army 4: Dead War. The plot is simple: after losing the war in 1945, Hitler decided not to take his own life. Instead, he chose to initiate Plan Z, flooding Europe with a wave of the undead. In the previous titles, the players were able to stem the tide and break the back of the decaying army. Now Hitler has returned, with more of the buggers ready to chew the scenery and its inhabitants.

Other than this, the details are sparse. The campaign will feature four player drop in/drop out cooperative combat and tons of skills, weapons, cosmetics, and emotes to earn. The levels are promised to be huge, with varied locales such as the canals of Venice and a zoo filled with undead critters. Plus, the famous x-ray kill cam will be seeing an improvement, with the damage that traps and explosives inflict set to be rendered in gruesomely loving detail. Set to launch in early 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, fans of the series have a reason to practice their zombie perforating skills. See the trailer below:
