E3 2019: Microsoft Confirms Next-Gen Specs, Project Scarlett Arriving Holiday 2020

In much the same way Microsoft capped off their 2016 showing by teasing what would later be known as Xbox One X in the form of Project Scorpio, Microsoft made sure to give us fuller details about their upcoming next-generation console: Project Scarlett. With an emphasis on upgraded hardware for the modern gamer, Project Scarlett is panning out to be a beastly machine.

With processing systems four times more powerful than the current Xbox One X, Project Scarlett will blow our collective minds away with up to 120 Frames Per Second and a Solid State Drive built for performance. While no hard release date has been announced, we definitely have important new details to tide us over until its release in Holiday 2020.
