Characters will receive their first skill point at level 2. It's important to note that some players, may have a different amount of extra skills they have received from completing various challenges per region ( Renown rewards). This means the numbers contained in this guide represent the number of extra skills that can be obtained and not necessarily the level of your character.

The main mechanic of playing this build is going to rely very heavily on corpses being produced. For the first ten skill points of this build, you can choose a different core skill, but afterward, it will be necessary to respec and follow this for optimal results.

The main skills you are going pick up first will be decompose and bone spear this will be your bread and butter early stage and will still be utilized late stage. Remember to make use of your skeletons and monitor your minions on the battlefield at all times. This will provide a safe distance for you to deal damage without compromising yourself.

Remember you will have access to the Book of the Dead a class unique special for Necromancers Only. The UI becomes available at level 5. You will unlock various new skeleton options up to level 25.

With your skeletal minions at the forefront of each battle, allows the player to stay at a safe distance while dealing insane amounts of splash damage. Remember to use decompose to generate more and more corpses. For every encounter, you begin with a bone spear which deals heavy damage and also applies vulnerable, if that kills then you move into a corpse explosion ( which ironically generates another corpse). Rinse and repeat for every encounter.

Try to think about it like this. Bone Spear -> Corpse Explosion -> Decompose -> Corpse Explosion -> Bone Spear.

You will now begin maxing out the skills to continue to augment your damage capabilities.

While dumping some points into some passives that do not augment your damage may seem boring, it is vital to maintain your essence at the highest levels so you can keep dishing out more and more bone spears into more corpse explosions.

  1. Go to the northwestern part of Menestad.
  2. Find the Shrine of Rathma and have a conversation with Maltorius (a character who appears next to the Shrine).
  3. Maltorius will request that you gather 12 Unbroken Bones. Defeat all the Bone Warriors in the designated area. After acquiring all 12 Unbroken Bones, return to Maltorius and speak to him once again.
  4. Next, Maltorius will instruct you to retrieve a cursed artifact. You can locate it inside a cave indicated on the map.
  5. Make your way to the Bitter Cave, situated south of the Shrine of Rathma and west of Menestad.
  6. Explore deeper into the cave until you encounter the Jar of Souls. Activate it to open the Jar.

Engage in battle with the nearby enemies to fill up the Jar of Souls. Once you have completed this task, Maltorius will appear next to the Jar. Have a conversation with him. Congratulations! You have now unlocked the Necromancer's Summon Golem ability and can utilize it in the game.
