Believe it or not, arcade games are still popular in Japan. Case in point: Tank! Tank! Tank!, a 2009 massive multiplayer title that debuted in Japanese arcades.

Up to four players can participate in fighting together against giant dragons and spiders trying to destroy cities. If multiplayer is more your thing, you can even take on each other to see who's the best blaster.

Tank! (times three) will make its console debut on the Wii U sometime in 2012. This party game has generated a lot of buzz at E3, stealing the spotlight away from many big name games. It's a blast (pun intended).
