Do you love GameStop enough to pay to attend their conference? You're in luck. GameStop is turning its annual employee-only conference into a public event, as GameStop EXPO 2012  will be open to all PowerUp Rewards members. Featuring 200,000 square feet of space, attendes can demo games before they are released as well as win prizes and mingle with publishers.

If you care enough to go, you may want to look into the limited VIP Admissions, which include "four in-depth sessions with some of the biggest names in gaming, access to VIP-only lines and entrance to the VIP gaming lounge." The general admission is $35, while the VIP admission will set you back $100.

It's ironic that GameStop is putting on a conference as, due to their used game tactics, publishers seem to have a love/hate relationship with the retail giant. It should certainly be interesting to see who participates.

The Expo will take place August 29th, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
