While knock-off clones seem to be a common sight in foreign or less then reputable retailers these days, it's rare to see one so cheap -- and functional. Instead of simply being a handheld "_-in-one" console or original hardware emulator, the HAMY does both -- and for under $25. 76 games are packed in, many of which are actual Famicom games like Contra, Super Mario Bros. and Aladdin. Unfortunately, some are hacks and have clear issues with color palettes or gameplay, but they still seem playable.

But the hacked games isn't what has our interest -- it's the actual Famicom slot on the back that can launch original games seemingly quite well. The console itself looks cheapy, but has a surprisingly decent backlit 2.5" screen and speakers. So for $23.90 (shipped), a decent portable Famicom player can be yours. Frankly, you can't afford not to.
