PlayStation Store Update For the Week of October 7, 2014 Goes Live

This week’s update was scheduled to be a big one with the release of Driveclub PS+ Edition, but that was surprisingly not included with the update. Instead, PS+ users are able to buy the full game with a $10 discount, taking it to $50. Beyond that, PS4 owners can get Alien: Isolation for $60, DiveKick for $10, Dust: An Elysian Tail for $15, NBA 2K15 for $60, Spelunky for $15, Styx: Master of Shadows, Pix the Cat, and the Curve Digital Mega Bundle. PS3 owners can also get Alien: Isolation and NBA 2K15, but can also partake in Vib-Ribbon and Strider 2 if they’re down for some PSOne Classics. PS3 games include One Piece UWR Prestige Edition and Jet Car Stunts. On the Vita side of things, Pix the Cat, Jet Car Stunts, the Curve Digital Triple Feature – Action Pack, Curve Digital Feature – Adventure Pack, Vib-Ribbon, and One Piece UWR Prestige Edition are now available.  You can also pre-order Grand Theft Auto V or both the basic or Digital Deluxe versions of WWE 2K15 on the PS4.

PS+ freebies include Rainbow Moon on the PS3 and Vita, Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystra on the PS3, Batman: Arkham Asylum on the PS3, and Pix the Cat on the Vita. PS+ discounts don’t just take Driveclub down to $50, but also enable you to get Styx for $27, and Vib-Ribbon for $4.79. The weekly deals only take 50% off some DLC for Grand Theft Auto V, and cut the price a bit for some Ace Combat: Infinity stuff. The permanent price drops are noteworthy though.
