S.T.A.R.S. Ammo Locker
Need: S.T.A.R.S. Badge (Examine, flip around and press the back)
Location: Inside Jewel Box
You need the Red Book from the Library. Take it over to the Art Room and combine it with the arm next to the statue. Attach the Arm to the Statue and receive the Jewel. Attach the Jewel to the box which is found on the first floor in the interrogation room or second floor shower room.
Note: Be sure to remove after using this on the computer and store in your item box. It will come into play later into the story.
Cell Electrical Puzzle (Leon)
Parts found in Clock Tower and in the basement on a shelf where you turn the lights back on.
Cell Electrical Puzzle (Claire)
Parts found in Clock Tower and 3F Storage Room (Heart Key Door)
Picture Book Puzzle
The easiest puzzle ever. Place the block you got from the doll at the end and move the first block to the third slot. Flip the now third block twice so it's matching the second block's circle and star, and then do the same to the last piece.
Glass Case
Remember that glass case you weren't able to access earlier? Bring the USB drive (be sure to press the back again to make it a standard badge again) and place it in the slot. For Leon, you'll get a Long Barrel for your Lightning Hawk Magnum. For Claire you'll get a Suppressor for her MQ 11 Submachine gun.
Electrical Plug Chess Game (Normal)
Left Wall: Bishop -> Rook -> Knight
Right Wall: Pawn -> Queen -> King
*This is based on coming into the room facing the table with your back to the window
Electrical Plug Chess Game (2nd Run)
Left Wall: Queen -> Bishop -> King
Right Wall: Pawn -> Rook -> Knight
*This is based on coming into the room facing the table with your back to the window
Laboratory Codes (Normal)
These are obscure symbols you need to enter into the computer. The first is for the hatch to go down to essentially the bottom level of the lab, and the second is the code to open up the fluid mixer.
Laboratory Codes (2nd Run)
Same instructions as before, but in the 2nd Run they've changed the codes. The first is for the hatch to go down to essentially the bottom level of the lab, and the second is the code to open up the fluid mixer.
Mixing Process (Regular)
Having trouble with the mixing process when combining fluids? Well here's an easy solution for pressing the buttons in the correct order:
Red, Green, Blue, Red, Green, Blue, Red, Green
(Red, Green, Blue x2 + Red, Green)
Mixing Process (2nd Run)
Like most of the puzzles, this also is a little different, requiring a much higher amount of liquid than the regular campaign.
Blue, Red, Green, Blue, Red, Green, Blue, Red, Green
(Blue, Red, Green x3)
And there you have it. These are essentially all the puzzles in the game, at least that needs some level of strategy to complete. I hope this guide has helped you through your travels in Raccoon City!
