Screenshot Saturday!  That means it's a great day to look at things you might have heard about and others you definitely haven't, all in a single near-endles cascade of content held together by the screenshotsaturday hashtag.  This weekly feature grabs a dozen of the most visually arresting images and animated .gifs, plus a bonus one that may or may not have much to do with anything, just for the fun of seeing what's new.  The standard disclaimers apply- no promise on final game quality, images are chosen by a completely subjective formula of "it caught my eye", and .gifs don't auto-play so make sure to click on the arrows.

Space Wrestler- This is an iOS game that's been out for a couple years but is in the process of being update.  You're a wrestler conquering galaxies by connecting the pathways between stars, taking out your wandering rivals as they stroll down the star lanes.  Not sure why WWE doesn't do this.

Fortified- A game of base-building and third-person action defense against 1950s aliens.  Just look at that silver ball rolling down the street then sprouting legs and a zapper.  That's how aliens death robots are supposed to work.

Death Trash-  Post-apocalyptic cyberpunk RPG in the vein of Planescape: Torment.  As this dialogue shows, you don't have to be the sharpest punk in the mosh pit to embark on an trash-talking quest across the wastelands.

CHKN-  Build weird pets from parts.  Nobody promised it would look sane when complete.

Graybles-  This is a game about playing with perspective.  While not a platformer, seeing as the main character doesn't jump, you'll need to figure out how the world fits together by mentally piecing together a 3D map from the different viewpoints.  It's like mechanical drafting, the game.

Hive Jump- Co-op run & gun about clearing off every insect that ever existed in the history of the entire universe, judging by the enemy density.  Die, bugs!

Lost World Zero-  Not a lot of info on this one but that's just a fantastic shot of whatever it is going on there.

Radical Rebels-  Another game with more screenshots than info, but appears to be a combination riot/brawler.  It also has a hatred of crates, which is perfectly reasonable when there's no health or ammo inside.

Stack Gun Heroes-  FPS where you can reconfigure the gun to deal with whatever the situation demands.  The entire game is randomly generated, from weapon parts to each player's unique superpower, and the difficulty scales infinitely.  It's worth taking a look at the homepage over here for more info.

Manifold Garden-  Not including a screenshot from Manifold Garden on a weekly basis is an actual challenge, but this one is way too pretty to resist.

Score Rush Extended-  I had to dig deep into the memory banks for this one, but Score Rush was an Xbox Live Indie twin-stick vertical shooter that saw you powering up almost forever as the enemies got bigger and stronger and more firepower-intensive until the screen was completely saturated in so many bullets that it was almost impossible to keep track of it all.  Now it's coming to PS4, which is all kinds of fantastic.  I can't wait to see how the years have tweaked its design.

Death Road to Canada-  Randomized adventure about fleeing the zombie apocalypse by heading north to Canada.  The situation can get a little bit strange out as the journey winds onward.

Bonus Image-

Bloom Shrooms-  Cant' really say much about the game, seeing as there's no info about it at all, but it's got some nice big-pixel art to go with it.
